Orsanmichele and the History and Preservation of the Civic Monument

Este libro recoge una serie de trabajos dedicados a Orsanmichele, y supone el final de un prolongado período dedicado a la restauración de esta magnífica iglesia medieval y de sus obras artísticas, especialmente las célebres esculturas del exterior. Encargadas por los distintos gremios florentinos, en competencia mutua, las esculturas son el producto del trabajo de algunos de los más grandes artistas de la época (Donatello, Brunelleschi, Andrea Pisano, Nanni di Banco, Lorenzo Ghiberti, Andrea del Verrrocchio).
